Healing Foods

The healthiest foods on the planet are known as "Superfoods." We need to eat in order to survive, and each day we make choices about what we put into our bodies. "You are what you eat" is a simple concept, but it bears continual repeating.

 If we want to lead healthier lives we need to start making healthy choices about the foods we consume. Yes, it is true that the previous mini paragraph is far easier said (or written) than done, and I would be a big fat hypocrite to even suggest that my diet is as healthy as it should be.

 The problems I have with sticking to a healthy diet are probably the same problems most people have. Maintaining a healthy diet is more time and energy consuming than eating on the fly (cuz you usually have to cook it as opposed to ordering it off the dollar menu, unwrap and inhale), and it is more expensive (I dare anyone to reveal to me a restaurant that has an abundant supply of superfoods on their dollar menu -- go ahead, I'll wait.....).

 I am probably never going to be the super healthy person I aspire to be, but I know that I can start where I am today and make little changes to improve my eating habits. I invite you to start where you are as well, and the first step is learning about the healthiest foods on the planet.

 My goal is to incorporate these superfoods into my daily diet until it becomes second nature, and I have created this page to introduce these foods to you so you can do the same:
